Statual Memory

Memory that's only accessible whilst in a specific state. (example: your consciousness)

His mind was changed, due to the statual memory principal.

Example: If you're going to open a .txt file on your computer. You'll need a text editor in order to edit the text due to the state it's in. You couldn't use a photo viewer to open it, could you? No. That's because it's in a specific state designed for a specific program to use. Once it changes it's state to a photo file, then you can only use a photo viewer to open it, etc.
