Not to be confused with "staus quo," this term refers to a person who always updates their Facebook status to something in order to elicit attention in the form of comments.

Jason is always trying to be witty on his Facebook status, but in fact he is simply a Status Ho.

One who continually updates their status on twitter, Facebook, etc. in a lame attempt to get responses, thus validating their existence.

Richard had such low self-esteem he became a status ho.
