Strawberry trapper

An audacious go getter;
someone who (in an irritating way) impudently gets a head start on work

He forgets we are a team. That strawberry trapper just prefers to get a head start on the work.
He is always well-prepared and then brags about it, that strawberry trapper is getting on my nerves.
