When someone slowly gets worse and worse at something the longer a session goes on. This effect is mainly caused by the brain sabotaging the session because it grows tired of shit and wants to do something else.
Person 1: AGHHHH!!!
Person 2: You good?
Person 1: NO! I'm trying to beat Deadlocked, but every time I play, I just keep dying earlier!!! I hate this game!!!
Person 2: No you don't. You're just experiencing the Geometry Dash Effect. You gotta take a break to do something else.
Person 1: Yeah. Wanna make out?
Person 2: Hell yeah

(1) Dash was raised in Ethiopian projects on Fillmore St; despite being white, he more closely identifies with black culture, therefor exemplary of The Dash Effect.
(2) The Dash Effect is pronounced in Creedence Clearwater Survival’s ‘Bayou Country’ album wherein a bunch of San Franciscan boys perfectly emulate bayou blues.
