The Pop Effect

The effect that happens with each passing year, it becomes almost impossible to remember a particular pop song from the year prior. This also includes songs from different genres that have pop infused into the song.

"Hey, do you remember that one pop song we used to jam out with last year in that jeep of yours?"
"Oh man, i know what you're talking about, but i just can't remember the song name."
"Ah damn, must be The Pop Effect that's making us forget."

pop tart effect

n. the blissful re-discovering of one of a pair; the moment at which one realizes they have more than previously thought; also referred to as Twix effect

"That was a delicious pop tart, sure wish i had one more. oh wait, i do. pop tart effect."

pop smoke effect

When someone mainly a rapper blows up after their death because they died.

“Dude king von just blew up out of no where. Ya I know it’s the pop smoke effect.”

second Pop-Tart effect

The wonder and excitement comparable to eating one Pop-Tart in a package, forgetting about the second one, and rediscovering the second one later.

I thought I was out of money until I looked in my old pants pockets, found a 20, and experienced second Pop-Tart effect.
