robotics company for high schools with overpriced materials and strict regulations, has monthly regional competitions followed by state, national, and world championships.
Bob: Let's make this robot 16 feet tall bro!
Pete: Rule 9-34B says, "No robot shall be build to be greater than 16 inches tall."
Bob: Aw SHUCKS! Vex robotics just wants to trouble us.

A high schools robotics competition that requires vast amounts of money and supplies to compete in, as the cost of parts is ridiculous to the point that you are wondering why you are spending so much of the schools budget on this instead of flying cars for the students.
Half of the expensive parts you will buy will bend, snap, or get lost or stolen.
Each year there is a new game that teams must compete in that is vaguely similar to the others and requires almost the same skillset and tools.
The rulebook is longer than any textbook you will ever procrastinate reading. Everyone on your team will keep telling you to read it, and you never will.
"Oh no! Our robot is 1/16 of an inch too tall for inspection! I guess we have to shave down the top of it for the next 30 minutes or we won't be able to compete! I love Vex Robotics!"
