Vein of Jig

Verb; the development of a line of jigsaw enquiry such that linear progress is made in a meaningful way across the area of the offending frustration, analogous to discovering a tree branch, a fence or train track etc.

The jig-induced melancholy was given a temporary respise as David realised he'd hit on a rich vein of Jig !!!
