wailing wall

an object of worship amoung the modern jews. It consists of a pile of rocks that date from the Roman era. "In fact, that particular location that the Jewish authorities have accepted represents the Western Wall of an early Roman fortress (finally built and enlarged by Herod the Great). King Herod called it Fort Antonia, after the famous Mark Anthony who lived at the end of the first century before Christ"

Driving to the Wailing Wall

Being a passenger in a car with a driver unaccustomed to driving a car equipped with manual transmission, staying in first gear way too long, resulting in a jerky, head-bobbing motion, i.e. like the pilgrims at the Wailing Wall.
