Before the Romans invaded England there was a small town in the south western corner of the British Isle. This part of the Island was well known for copious amounts of wild horses. Legend has it that it was impossible to tame these horses. People from all over Britain tried but all had failed.Day by day, the horses began to gather around the town thus cutting off all incomers and outgoes. The people in the town began to see this as a problem and sent people to find help outside of the town but the wild horses defeated them all. Eventually the town died off, but the legend prevailed, and the phrase, "Wild horses couldn't stop me" was used all over Britain.
"Are you sure she'll let you go?"
"Wild horses couldn't stop me."
