This generally happens when someone has been working out or stressing their torso and then a little poot comes out with an amazingly awful stench.
Holy crap, Lucas was exercizing and then he smelled horrible i think it was an air fart.

A release of a fart outdoors that is so dense and vile that not even a breeze, strong wind, or any other weather related condition can safely disperse the heinous ass gas before it makes its way to all surrounding victims’ noses. Even moments later, this thick and gaseous hell-beast of a rectal belch will stay lingering in the same outdoor vicinity in which it was spawned.
The family cookout was going well this past weekend, until Bobbo laid an open air fart that cleared the entire picnic area and almost killed his already unhealthy, jaundice looking friend, Smear.
Minutes later when EMTs arrived to collect Smear, the lingering aroma of Bobbo’s open air fart forced them to wear decontamination suits and oxygen masks in order to enter the hot zone.
If you stand on your head and fart, the air comes out cold.
Charles: My word, William, it is absolutely sweltering today.
William: Indeed. Say old boy, why don't I stand on my head and bring the temperature down a couple of degrees with a cold air fart?
Charles: That's the ticket!

1) The act of farting to cover up another persons fart.
2) When you smell something so freakishly bad you have to fart to cover up the smell.
3) When someone thinks their farts smell good they let air freshener farts frequently.- see fart sniffer
Person 1: "OMG that's awful!"
Person 2: "That's ok, I've got it covered"
Person 1: "OMG it's even worse now! Did you just let an air freshener fart?"
Person 2: "Yep, lovely isn't it?"
Person 1: "I think the tissue in my lungs is dying! Are those acidic?"
Person 1:
Falls to the ground and is now in a comatose state.
