when someone doesnt wanna kill someone but wants to give them the message that they are more powerfull

this usually happens to shit talkers on games

person 1 : oh shit do you hear andrew got hit with a airsoft gun?
person 2: yeah i heard hes scared of the guy now for some reason

andrew: well i could have shot him for real

person 1: shut up you had a airsoft pull up on you
