Pipe smoking terminology for the person with the largest pipe, and therefore, the highest standing amongst his or her fellow pipe smokers

When a group of pipe smokers compare the sizes of their pipes and crown one man the champion, or Alcep, based on the size, stiffness and taste of his pipe.

Etymology:

Al – ARABIC definite article meaning “the”
Cep – LATIN, meaning “get, receive, take”

Alternatively, a possible contraction of “old chap” from the Middle English “Aul chaep” meaning ‘old boy’

Zorganthus, Neptunalds and Bob had examined each other’s pipes thoroughly and come to the conclusion that Zorganthus was the Alcep.
