To be 'at someone's service' is a hospitable expression and means to be ready to help someone whenever possible. If I'm at your service, it means I'm ready and willing to help you out with whatever you need.

What the VA tells you when they can not or will not provide proper health care.
Also used by anyone else that is telling you to pack sand bc they don't really care about you or your service. Or nice way to say please don't go postal bc you will get no help.
" Thank you for your service., but unfortunately I am not able to help you."

Abbreviated as TYFYS. It is a term used to adequately thank those in public service. Primarily this term is used for those in the fire, rescue, and EMS community. Individuals earn a TYFYS typically post photos of themselves (selfies) on social media platforms to showcase what they do. Examples include photos in their uniform, photos of amazing training exercises, eye popping photos of their apparatus and gear, and photos of amazing incidents where they are not actively involved.
Thank You For Your Service Frank. Those were some great photos of us at that training exercise. Be sure to put them on our Facebook page.
