when you go to bali and drink unpurified contaminated water, and subsequently end up with extreme digestive illness (ie VOMITING AND DIARRHOEA...not at all pretty)
tip: u should only ever drink bottled water in bali if u know what's good for you

omg i had the worst bali belly EVER and stayed in my hotel room the whole two weeks, just sitting on the toilet and puking...oh, why didn't i just drink the bottled water??

An offensive term ignorant white people coined and use when visiting bali for the first time and didn’t do their research about not drinking tap water that they end up in a hospital bed with severe digestive problems/diarrhea. Bali belly isn’t real. Just don’t drink tap water. Lots of filtered water options come in bottles and gallons and they aren’t expensive for your privileged ass.
