When someone who may or may not be experienced with a bong sucks too much smoke in and thus burns their throat, causing a burning sensation that can last for minutes or hours, depending on the level of the burn.

I got bong burn from taking some deep hits from the bong last night. It hurts like a bitch.

Guy 1: dude I tryed to clean my bong for an hour yesterday and it just wouldn't get clean.
Guy 2 : dude that's because you have bong burn, that's never coming off.
