brasiguayo

A person who is of both Paraguyan and Brazilian parents; or a Brazilian who spent many years in Paraguay. Because Paraguay and Brazil share borders, and the fact that Paraguay is a landlocked country, there is lots of commerce with Brazil and others. Certain areas of Paraguay are populated and owned mostly by Brazilians.
By the same token, there are colonies in the Chaco desert of Paraguay of German Mennonites. they have lived there in virtual isolation, due to a hrash desert enviorment, while retaining German as their native language. The cultures tend to blend once you get to the fronteras.
