Mary and Denise are discussing Jill. Jill is not present. Mary brings the conversation that Denise discussed about Jill to Jill. Most of the time Mary does not discuss what she said about Jill, but is very willing to share what Denise said. Mary brings the bone. The dog who brings the bone carries the bone.
To gossip, to instigate, to tell another person what someone said about them that is not true in order to cause trouble.
The reason they are arguing is because Chuck be bringing bones to Sadie about Mary.
Stay away from Chris, all he is good for is bringing bones and causing drama
