(Noun) A derogatory slang term for an urban dweller that lives on the east or west coast of the U.S., and is not knowledgeable or is out of touch with middle-American or rural concepts, hobbies, interests, work ethic or culture.
I grew up in the city and have never been to a county fair. All my buddies call me a coast lily.
This term was used in March 2018, on the TV show, Timeless (episode 202, Darlington 500) when Wyatt said to Lucy, "You really are a coast lily, aren't you?" After she noted she had no understanding of NASCAR racing.
