Crossword

A word puzzle that normally takes the form of a square or rectangular grid of white and shaded squares. The shaded squares are used to separate the words or phrases. The goal is to fill the white squares with letters by solving clues that lead to the answers. Could frustrate you to death.

This crossword puzzle is fricken hard to solve.

Crossword Nazi

Everybody's favourite asshole. This is the type of person who makes sure that THEY are the ones who get to do every last crossword in the sunday papers, even if YOU bought the damn paper yourself. Can be widened in meaning to encompass anybody who has a tendency to make sure they get all the enjoyment out of something which is quite trivial, yet in principle is still quite important.

"Christ's sake Billy, you've already popped all the little bubbles of air in this entire roll of bubble wrap. I wanted to do some! You're such a crossword nazi!"

Crossword tree

Any form of artwork that depicts inter-locked words in a meaningful way. The words are joined by common letters in a grid-like form. Similar to a crossword puzzle. This type of crossword does not have clues. The answers are the words that make up the grid.
