A term usually used in videogames, typically in first-person shooters, when a player intends to slide as an evasive maneuver, but accidentally crouches, which usually gets the player killed instead.
"Bro I almost had him, but i had a fuckin' Dead Slide around the corner and he shot me!"
to punch someone so hard their feet slide out from under them and they fall to the ground leaving them to appear dead to bystanders.
I had to dead slide that guy cuz he was getting in my face.
