Typically used as a joke, a dead soldier is a single turd left in the toliet. To be properly considered a dead solier, the turd in question must be solitary, and this is especially crucial, left with no toliet paper in the bowl. The phantom shitter must leave it behind and seek a wipe elsewhere. The dead soldier is then left for the host to find at a later time.
