The older the definition, the more exposure and (hopefully) likes and positive like ratio it gets.
Getting your definition to hopefully show up on obscure searches and enlighten them with a good, well explained, apt, concise definition.
Due to urban dictionary being less popular (maybe?), older definitions have an advantage, however a new definition with a strong like ratio may beat a years old one if people like it.
I can't believe these stupid definitions that hate on my favorite _____ (team, car, place, school, thing, interest, noun, proper noun, etc). It's all because of definition aging.
