Ergys (with a y goddamn it, not an i), is a rather obscure name of Albanian origin. It is usually given to Albanian males, by Albanian mothers who allegedly (according to mine at least) were inspired when they've first heard the said name from a kid's talk show when they were 10 or something, and made a pledge to themselves that they'll name their smart, and handsome future offspring (In this case that offspring is me) that way.
