Firefly

Firefly was a great Sci-Fi TV show which lasted about 1 season before the goons at FOX saw that it was good and killed it. Apparently, they showed all the episodes in the wrong order at a crap time. Firefly was described as a 'western in space' (which was a bit misleading) and was created Joss Whedon, the creator of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Apparently there's a DVD coming out with all the episodes on, hurray.

"Firefly was a unique show which the bastards at FOX decided was too good just like Futurama and Family Guy and just had to get rid of it. Bastards."

Firefly

1. An insect.

2. A tv space-western-comedy-drama created by Joss Whedon, of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame, and hosted by FOX. It was aired in the wrong order and thus dreadfully passed over. After one season it was canceled. All episodes are currently out on DVD (or Kazaa/Bittorrent....) and due to a dedicated fanbase a movie is scheduled for 2005

1. Look mommy, a firefly!

2. "Are you gonna kill me?"
"What? (What) kind of crappy planet is that? Kill you?"
"In the maidens home I heard storys of men who weren't pleased with their bri-"
"Well I ain't them! And don't you ever stand for that sorta thing. (If) someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill them right back."

Firefly

(Queer terminology, noun) A term used to describe a woman (inclusive) who comes out as Queer while in a hetero-facing long-term partnership/marriage. Symbolic of spending a lot of life β€œunderground”, going through a metamorphosis, and then emerging as the truest and most authentic self that glows in the dark and brings joy to others. Alternative to β€œlate blooming lesbian”/β€œlate bloomer”/β€œlate in life lesbian,” but intended to be more inclusive of gender identities/expressions and sexuality representations.

β€œ...Oh yeah, she’s a firefly, she left her marriage a few years ago and came out. Now she’s living her big Queer life and is happier than ever!”

Firefly

1) A small insect that has a glowing butt
2) A short lived science-fiction show that the antichrist FOX cut after only 11 episodes were aired. Had the pilot been showed at the beginning, it would have gained a huge fan base for it's character-development. Unfortunately, the dicks at FOX didn't show the pilot first, so... here we are.
3) A ship that is popular to smugglers for it's many nooks and crannys. It's design is that of a bird and a firefly

1) "Mommy... I think I killed the firefly!"
2) "Mommy... I think I killed the firefly!"
"That's ok, little timmy. FOX did the same!"
3) Mid-bulk Transport. Standard Radion Accelerator core. Class code 03-K64... Firefly.

Firefly

A new drug that is believed to have been engineered in a legal testing facility in Oregon. It was originally developed as a cure for Alzheimer's disease but was quickly proven to be unhelpful. It is made up of two components. The first is tablet pieces, or "rocks" containing LSI, a cousin of LSD, and placebin, another drug with some hallucinogenic qualities that is mainly used to stabilize the formula. The other is a solution of carbonate compounds and natural stimulants that is often blue in color, leading to it's nickname: "blue magic potion". It is most often taken by dropping the rocks down a glass tube or plastic straw which rests under the tongue. The potion is then dripped down the straw with an eyedropper, and "puddled" under the tongue along with the rocks. The mixture of the two creates a chemical reaction that gives a fizzing feeling in the mouth. Users spit out the liquid when the rocks have disintegrated since swallowing may lead to vomitting and/or foaming. The effects of firefly take place 5-10 seconds after use. Users feel as if they are floating or submerged underwater, and most notably see colorful lights, which is why the drug is called firefly. Other effects are jitters, lightheadedness, dizziness, and slurred speech. The trip lasts for about 10-20 minutes while the overall high may go on for up to an hour after. Firefly doesn't seem to have any long term effects, however, it is a very new drug and many things about it have yet to be discovered.
Firefly is still extremely rare, especially on the east coast, and prices are usually between 60-80 dollars for 1/8 of an ounce of rocks. The potion is cheaper, usually about $20 for a cup.

We should get together this weekend and puddle some of this sleek firefly.
