when there is literally anything fishing-related and it involves Miggy the waffle warrior
OMG that was an epic funny Miggy fishing moment!
Phrase you can say when literally anything happens. Especially good to use when something ironic happens.
Person 1: "Damn, I'm too short to reach the ladder I want at the hardware store."
Person 2: "Dead fish moment."
OR
*Literally anything happens*
Person 1: "Dead fish moment."
The act of getting a prediction catastrophically wrong.
Holy shit, I never thought the UK would seriously vote for Brexit. Guess I just had a Michael Fish moment.

A moment where a friend doubts a weather forcast and gets it monumentally wrong!
Friend: The snow won't lie! I'm never wrong about these things.
*the snow storm arrives and there's a good few inches of snow*
to friend: Well that was a hell of a Michael Fish moment you noob!

A feeling of intense disappointment, an expectation of euphoria and happiness, cruelly taken away at the last second just as it is imminent.
Imagine you are 11 years old, you are going to your local fish and chip shop with a five pound note in your back pocket that has taken you all week to save and you are really excited and desperately looking forward to some beautiful fish and chips. You are really excited but alas, as you walk out of the shop with the goods wrapped under your arm in newspaper, you drop it onto the rain drenched road, the fish and chips spilling everywhere...
Thus, when referring to a silmiar scenario, one can say "It's a fish and chip moment", or "That was a fish and chip moment."
