friendly hypocrite

A friendly hypocrite is a term used to describe a self-proclaimed "friendly" on the game Team Fortress 2. Although exhibiting typical friendly behaviour, they proceed to attempt to kill other players seemingly at random moments, and if fought back against will accuse them of "friendly killing", a term used to describe a tryhard who kills other players even if friendly.

Another example of a friendly hypocrite is someone who is only friendly to specific people, and proceeds to kill other people regardless of them being friendly or not. An example of this is someone who is friendly to the entire BLU team except one Soldier who has no record of killing friendlies or injuring anyone. The reasons of the discrimination is unknown, however it can be pinpointed to an undisclosed accidental fire, or lack of trust.

Friendly hypocrites can commonly be found on the map 2Fort, and rarely on other maps. The most common choices of class includes Pyro, Heavy, and Spy, however half of the time they can easily be killed. They usually wear a variety of popular moderate-price range cosmetics such as Pyro the Flamedeer, but this has no effect in hypocrisy.

Usually, they do not respond when called out, but their team may help defend or conceal for them if accused.
