glacial pace

'At a glacial pace' means 'very slowly'.

Unfortunately, studies of moral judgment move at a glacial pace relative to the speed of neural processing.

glacial pace

Extremely slow. Used when somebody takes too much time than expected to perform a task and because of that other people start to desperate and in some cases, getting angry by the one performing the task.

He has a glacial pace doing his job.
