It usually includes activities for students and alumni, such as sports and culture events and a parade through the streets of the city or town.

a great county in Maryland near BalCo and MoCo. it's a awesome area to live in and also a great place to raise kids. Huge houses with picket fences, unpretentious rich people, real family life, Columbia mall, and a relaxed atmosphere.
Currently according to the latest US Census info, with an average household income around $85,500 making it the richest county in the state of Maryland, surpassing MoCo, and one of the 20 wealthiest counties in the US.

1. A place where parrents will pay too much money for houses so their kids can go to preppy schools which the kid's are ashamed to go to because although they envy the lives of the kids on the TV show "The O.C" they are ashamed to be called rich.
2. A place that college students terribly miss when they are away at college, but when the students come home they soon find there are less parties and places to drink than at college and end up calling everyone they know so they can all meet up together and do nothing.
1. "God! This school is so getto!" "I hate my school" "Why is River Hill so rich! Rich bastards!"

but when we come home: "There's nothing to do in Columbia"

The epitome of the American dream where all the kids have sports scholarships and the high school quarterback dates the cheerleader and everyone wears Hollister and look like the cover of a J.Crew catalog. Also a part of the epitome of reckless pomposity that is the abbreviation of a county (i.e HoCo, MoCo, Balco). What kind of vapid life requires you stress your level of toolbag by abbreviating your county?
Toolbag 1- HoCo is superior to Moco and BalCo.
Toolbag 2- My Dad can beat up your Dad and MoCo is so much cooler
