Human blanket is when a person lies on top of another, and they synchronize their breathing. Both lies stomach down for full effect.

When someone exits a shower or bath and proceeds to lay their body directly on top of you, without drying off first.

Him: "Take off that duvet girl, I've got that good human wet blanket coming your way"
Her: "Fine, but I hope this results in me being wet from than just your human blanket ish"

Human fire blanket

When someone shows so much as a flicker of excitement about something, the human fire blanket will smother it with a negative comment about how it probably won't work/ he's never liked such and such, etc.

Son: "Dad, I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I've decided to change career and start a landscape gardening business."

Dad, aka Human fire blanket: "There are already too many people doing that."
