A form of abbreviation, or contraction, for "humble opinion".

"In my humbop, Michael Jackson has become much more enjoyable a listen now that he's passed away. But that's just because I was a metalhead when he came out with his big 80's hits and then of course he turned into a total freak. But now I know better."
