An excuse people use on the internet when someone calls them out on their stupidity. The implication being they screwed up because they're tired.

"I'm drunk" is a related excuse.

Guy 1: Obama bailed out the banks because he's a socialist.
Guy 2: Actually, that was George Bush.
Guy 1: Oh yeah... I need to go to bed.
