karma box

A box filled with clothes you no longer want, usually in a college dorm setting, that others can take from freely.

Person 1: Where did you get that sweater?
Person 2: I grabbed it from the karma box at a party last week!
Person 1: Wow, I can't believe they got rid of something so cute!
