Knifey-Spoony

A game in which two or more players compare knives; the player with the largest knife is the winner. However, any player may choose to use a spoon instead of a knife. Any spoon beats any knife, but a player with a spoon is disqualified if another player recognizes and announces his or her use of a spoon.

"That's not a knife. THIS is a knife!"
"That's not a knife, that's a spoon."
"Ah, I see you've played Knifey-Spoony before!"

Knifey-Spoony

A slang reference for playing the game 'Resident Evil: 4'. Based on the strategy of using knife attacks throughout the game to conserve ammo for sections when ammo is needed. Derived from a Simpsons episode in which two characters play 'knifey-spoony'. Also applicable for other games that involve killing zombies such as 'Dead Rising'.

We spent all afternoon playing knifey-spoony.

Knifey Spoony

A game Australian in origin. Two opponents challenge each other to a comparison of knife blades, to determine who has the greater knife. When knives are to be produced, one player actually produces a spoon. If the opposing player correctly identifies it as a spoon, she/he wins the match.

knifey-spoony

Game which is still winnable by remembering the admonition from a certain franchise starring Keanu Reeves: "There is no spoon."

You can't fool me with that knifey-spoony stuff.
