A question confidently asked by a person that has given the appearance of being knowledgeable in the subject but really is not. Can be just the two of you or can be a group of you talking.
i.e. i was speaking about a construction site with a group of people and a girl nodding along jumped in with "iv always wondered, how do they hang drywall when its raining and not ruin it?... That's a Lemon Question, derived from interviews given by Don Lemon and the numerous times he asks a "Lemon Question".
A Question asked by a person pretending to know far more about a subject then they do.
The question will not make sense and reveals how little they know.
, thus revealing how little they do know.
"i was talking to the new guy about the job site when he asked me how they hang drywall in the rain. That lemon question is why he doesn't work here."
