It's a line from the 1987 film RoboCop. Spoken by an executive of a weapons manufacturer immediately following the death of his colleague at a failed demo of their new mechanized law enforcement robot. The character exemplifies the callous, dog-eat-dog mentality popular amongst business execs in the 80’s. It borders on sociopathic — similar to the nature in which Patrick Bateman speaks in American Psycho.
