nail a brick

To pound a nail into a solid brick, usually with a spatula or some other household object. Often occurs when a blonde girl is attempting to rebuild a house. Can also be used in the same way as the phrase "take a hike".

"I wanted to help those poor people down in the NO, so I was like 'hey, I'll just go nail a brick'"
OR
"I wouldn't even know the first thing about building houses, I'd probably just nail a brick and give up"
OR
"Seriously, you just don't know, go nail a brick. BYE"
