People who hail or descend from North Viet Nam. Notorious for the "Z" sound on words with the "Y" (d) sound. They typically think that they're the best out of all the Vietnamese (North, South, Middle, Chinese-Vietnamese).
Typically say things such as: "No one thinks about Huế (Middle Viet Nam)", "The South lost because they can't pronounce anything correctly",
"You call the country 'Diệc Nam'? You bet we Diệt Nam! Cuz you guys lost..." Meaning of the last one: a typical southern dialect pronounces vs with the 'y' (d) sound and they pronounce ts at the end of word with the 'c' sound. This means that they say the country's name as "yiec nam" which sounds identical to their pronunciation of the word "Diệt" (yiet) which means to exterminate/get rid of. And "Nam" means south. So basically anytime a southerner says "Viet Nam" it will sound like "Yiec Nam / Eliminate the South" instead.
Northerners typically also have big egos and look down on other Vietnamese peoples... I'm looking at YOU, Kiet! You know who you are!
Nam (South) Guy: "Ai - Yah! That North Vietnamese guy can't stop slamming us! He's so full of himself!"
Bac (North) Guy: "Ai-Zah! That South Vietnamese guy can't stop complaining! He's such a whiner!"
Hue (Middle) Guy "A-Yuh! Baegads agredgg uaeqeqwhy bnqtq Vietnaefadf DAgdasg!!! Aggdfort!"
