Out of Right Field

Plot twist! Unlike the baseball term, “out of left field”, which is way over used and now expected, the term, “out of right field” is actually unexpected.

1: “The topic I chose for my thesis was out of right field?”
2: “Don’t you mean out of left field?”
1: “No, that’d be too expected”.
