referencing a private sale of a personal item online via. Kijiji, Craigslist, Letgo, Facebook, AutoTrader, etc. (1) Statement of desirability in fluctuation of price or lack-there-of. (2) Truthful meaning is “firm” however the seller doesn’t want to sound rude; adding “pretty” allows the seller to set their price, but will politely reject offers below asking. (3) The item in question is priced at the sellers lowest acceptable amount in hopes of a quick sale; the offer stands and will most likely not be haggled or bargained to anything less. (4) An overall “nice guy” will use this term to avoid conflict on the internet because he/she wants to maintain the appearance of being a genuine person to potential buyers who still offer less than asking price.
