To distract oneself with a creative or crafty project while subconsciously processing an intensely nerdy challenge. Typically occurs late in the day (procrafternoon) or at night (procrafternevening).
I hit a wall working on that crazy-complex Excel model, so I decided to procraftinate by converting my Ikea Billy Bookcase into a nightstand.
Distracting oneself from a task (e.g. studying) by focusing all of one's efforts on searching for crafts or DIY projects for hours upon hours.

to procraftinate is if you craft instead of doing your actual task. Common among ppl with ADHS or any avoiders with an artsy creative soul!
