Anytime something is dropped, whether physically or in a figurative sense

Brian is sitting in class
*tries to pick up pencil*
*drops pencil to ground*
Brian: "oops, I pulled a paik"

Andrew decided not to study for a test, and failed every quiz up to the drop deadline.
Andrew: "yeah I just decided to pull a Paik for that class"
