Pulling A Dottie

When you don't want to be with someone, but you don't want them to be with someone else.

Person 1: That girl is pulling Dottie!

Person 2: What's that?
Person 1: She strung me along, roped me in, and then dumped me. When I got with another girl, she stalked me and wanted me back.

Person 2: Sounds like an opportunist.

Person 1: Yep! She's pulling a Dottie!
