When an individual disappears from public life entirely for days on end, fails to reply to modern communication devices and is akin to a wizard in his ability to go unseen.

Usually has some bs excuse for the disappearing act.

dude2: no man he is pulling an asif, no sight of him.

dudette1: hey you been pulling an asif these past few days!
