A Marvel Comics character who first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #129; the charcater, whose real name is Frank Castle, is a vigilante who utilizes an arsenal of firearms in his one-man war against organized crime. Two motion pictures have been released based on the charcater.

One of the best video games EVER made. Based on the comic book of the same name, "The Punisher" was a Capcom CPS-1 game that hit arcades in 1993, and would be released on Sega Genesis the following year.
Oddly enough, the game also features Nick Fury, who starred in an entirely different comic book.

the badest mother fucker ever. recently made into a movie, which kicked so much ass.
Joe,Bob,Mike,Lindsey, and Ben saw the punisher; the exploding cars scene made mike go into convulsions because it was so badass.
