Nobody can prove me wrong, its humour is top-notch and it's so weird I love it. This proves that some Youtubers who make animations can make a really good show if they pitch them to adult swim. You should watch Smiling Friends too, because it's that good of a cartoon.
A term dubbed by the Twitch.tv Duo, CallMeCarson and Katerino, "friends smile" or "friends :)" simply means friends but different.
The whole point of the term is to blue ball the Twitch.tv audience from the official title of dating.
We started off as just friends— and now we're just friends smile, which is different.
May possibly involve playing a little prank on a friend in hopes of seeing them crack a smile during a diffucult day.
Creating a screen name and pretending to be the cute neighbor next door and asking your friend out on a date.
