social instancing

A phenomenon driven by COVID-19 and the direction for social distancing. Social instancing is the brief contact made due to the desire to be close to someone at least for an instant due to the lack of human contact from shelter in place.

Patrick: Where's Paige?

Cara: I think she is out for a walk. She has been cooped up inside for so long, I think she needed to get out for some social instancing to be close to a few folks she has not seen for the past 3 weeks.

Patrick: I sure hope she is not doing that and she is COVIDgilent on her walk such that she wins the COVID-19 chicken all day. She's also got to watch out for that rando pedo neighbor, as he is celebrating No Pants Month.
