A person who is primarily focused on their self-interest and who takes advantage of others for personal gain, without regard for the well-being of the larger society.
Essentially, a sociophage could be seen as a parasitic individual who feeds on negative behavior or selfishness to become the center of attention by ruining the lives of others.
