Sount

An informal past tense version of “sounded”. Mostly heard in southern and or Appalachian accents. Most people will spell “sounded”, but pronounce it without the “ed” suffix.

“Did you hear that car’s muffler? It sount real bad.”

A better past participle of 'Sound' than 'Sounded.' For example: Keep/Kept, Teach/Taught, Buy/Bought.

P1: Did you hear Taylor Swift's recent album? It sount so shit.
P2: Are you 14 to listen to TS? And why are you calling it Sount?
