Casual way to refer to speculative evolution, which is a vast subset of scifi that uses science to theorize and fantasize about the evolution of any kind of creatures (fantasy, ancient, current, space scifi, anime,... )

- my spec evo bf has been in an online argument over the ecological niches of an infinite mcdonalds dimension for 2 hours now :/
