A straight ally is someone who is not part of the LGBT+ minority, but supports their rights and promotes equality for all. They're often related to or know people that aren't cis/hetero/allo, and are found in groups such as the Gay-Straight Alliances.
However, the A in LGBTQA does NOT stand for ally; it stands for the arospectrum, often times shortened to arospec, which includes aces, aros, graysexuals, grayromantics, demisexuals, demiromantics, quioromantic, akiromantic, etc. etc.
I have a friend that isn't LGBT+ but is a straight ally and still wants to go to the gay parade. Honestly, I think they're more excited than I am.

an otherwise straight person who works for gay rights and is interested in gay history and culture. Kinda the flipside of gay people who beleive homosexuality is an illness. Straight allies are most often found in organizations like Gay-Striaght Alliances and Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, and often more passionate about gay rights that some gay people. Some are related to homo/bi/trans etc. people, some are freinds, and some are commited to equality and fairness.
a Straight Ally is the "A" in LGBTQA. I'm a Straight Ally

A straight ally is a person who would engage in sex with the same gender, but only because they're a straight ally.
Would you let a man c** in your a**? Is a common question that is synonymous with - are you a straight ally?
